A day in the desert

During my stay in Morocco, I went to Terres Etoiles which is ‘an oasis in the desert of Marrakech’. You’re driving 40 minutes from the centre of Marrakech into the desert, with the magnificent Atlas mountains as the backdrop. The scenery is unlike anything else, with bare landscapes and little rustic villages, far away from the hectic city.

A weekend in Marrakech

Morocco is one of those places filled with wonder. Breathtaking landscapes, alluring architecture and tantalising cuisine - a place filled with hidden finds and exotic charm. When you think of Morocco your mind goes to 1001 Arabian Nights, The Voices of Marrakesh or Lawrence of Arabia.

Icicle Store

Icicle is a slow fashion brand from Shanghai, it opened last September on the Iconic George V it’s a must see visit if you’re in Paris. The store is more than just a brand it’s a lifestyle where every detail is carefully crafted and curated with either books or home decorations.

Vintage Stores in Paris

I find that the clothes you find in vintage stores always have so much more character than the typical high street stores. Nothing is worse than buying a piece of clothing and as soon as you leave the store you’ve spotted at least 5 people wearing exactly the same item.

Winter Walks

Despite the chilly weather, it’s always nice to go on a refreshing walk in winter. It’s great to enjoy the crisp blue sky (when it’s actually sunny!).  Grab a take-away coffee to keep you warm whilst you wander through the Tuileries. Find one of the iconic green chairs with your coffee - it’s ideal to [...]

Winter stay at the Soho Farmhouse

I recently stayed at the Soho Farmhouse for a short break - it’s always lovely to get way for a few days over Christmas. There’s something about driving to the countryside during the Christmas season that puts you in a festive mood. The whole property is tucked away in the scenic landscape of Oxfordshire. I [...]

Winter Wear

Every December I always enjoy passing through Place Vendôme to see all the decorations. There’s something magical about the Christmas season in Paris. Seeing the floating trees at Le Bon Marché whilst trying to find the perfect gift. Exploring the Marché de Noël in the Tuileries and taking in the scent of roasted chestnuts. And [...]

Autumn Tones

Neutral, warm, muted tones. That time when the weather becomes more crisp and chilly. The landscapes and cityscapes become amber, auburn, golden. Autumn is that wonderful time of year when you get to start layering (in a sophisticated manner). For outfits I like to have quite muted, neutral colours but have a dash of lightness, [...]

Back Side / Dos à la mode exhibition

Musée Bourdelle has just opened its doors to a new exhibition: “Back Side /Dos à la mode”. The exhibition, curated by Alexandre Samson, displays the work of numerous designers - Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe, Rick Owens, Balenciaga, Schiaparelli and The Row, to name but a few.It explores the fascination with the back in fashion, whether it’s [...]

Nafplio

Nafplio is a picturesque town by the sea not far from Athens, in the Peloponnese. In Greek mythology it is named after the son of Poseidon and Amymone. For shopping, there are a couple of streets, ‘Staikopoulou’ and ‘Leof. Vasilisis Amalias’, where there are a number of jewellery shops and other little gift stores, perfect [...]
