In summer my usual favourite outfit is some sort of wrap dress – made iconic by Diane Von Furstenberg in the 1970’s. They are flowy, light and very flattering to wear as they can accentuate the female figure. I am currently travelling around the south of France so a wrap dress is ideal for exploring during the day then taking me on to the evening for dinner. A wrap dress can look wonderful in any length – midi, mini or maxi. They are super easy to style: keep it casual with a pair of espadrilles and a straw basket bag and make it formal with a pair of sandals and a little bag. What I love about this particular wrap dress are the little details such as frills and the floral pattern. They can work equally well as Boho or as formal wear for the office. You can also wear wrap dresses in winter depending on how you style them. Floral patterns and prints are more in favour with spring or summer then switch to solid colour blocks for the winter months. Nor do they need to be expensive to look lovely! I would definitely recommend a wrap dress as a key item in every woman’s wardrobe.
