The silk skirt can be both casual and formal – it just depends on how you style it. I like to wear it with ankle boots, a thick jumper and a blazer jacket. For a more casual look, just pair it with a plain t-shirt, ankle boots and a leather jacket. It’s a very simple and understated piece of clothing that can be worn super easily. I love how it creates a ‘slinky silhouette’; the length of these skirts for me is always fantastic because of how flattering they look. Having a slip skirt that is a somewhat darker, neutral colour definitely fits in well with the cold months without looking too lacklustre. I much prefer not just to be limited to wearing this skirt in Spring and Summer but making it work in the less warm months as well. Plus, if you wear leggings underneath it makes it easier to brave the cold without feeling frozen!
